AGING: ‘NOT FOR SISSIES’
It makes having a desk phone for my mild hearing impairment a bit more palatable. My pride’s not ready for hearing aids yet. I’ve heard it said that getting older isn’t for sissies. There’s a real temptation to live in the past and dwell on how things used to be, but that’s not healthy.

Grace Baptist Church of Citrus Springs will offer a class, Digital Photography for Seniors, from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday mornings beginning Oct. 22. The class will run for from four to six sessions, depending upon the needs of those attending. It will be taught by Pastor Richard Brosseau, who is an experienced amateur photographer.
